HAT: Marshalls// PONCHO: Marshalls// LEGGINGS: Express// BOOTS: COACH// PURSE: Tory Burch
Hello Loves,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Christmas is only two days away, have you done all of your gift shopping? It's been crazy in every store I've walked into for this entire month, but especially now and I'm certain you've noticed it, too. Here's a look I wore for some quick last minute shopping. I know it seems a bit glam, but this look was very comfy and the wool hat kept my head warm! The oversized poncho felt more like a blanky that I was able to carry around, only no one knew it was my secret blanky! These boots are also extremely comfy; they're a recent purchase of mine. I actually spotted them about a week ago in TjMaxx, but they didn't have my size and I of course loved the color and style, so I hunted them down. Plus it's COACH and every shoe that COACH makes seems to be of great quality because I've never had a bad experience with them and these sure did hold up to their fabulous reputation. Let's just say that I've worn them for three straight days, walking around countless NYC blocks, and if you're a New Yorker of have visited NY, you know how long those blocks are! They are extremely comfy and if you are on the look out for some really cute mid-calf boots, I would certainly suggest you try them out. I do want to suggest if you decide to purchase them, that you order a 1/2 size up than what you typically wear, because they run a little small; they don't have zippers, you just slip them on,so for some it can be a bit tricky and they run narrow.
As for this look, I think all can wear it and look fab, regardless of shape. However, if you're petite, you may want to consider wearing ankle boots or ones that are similar to these in the same color as the legging. The reason is that it will help further elongate your legs, especially since large ponchos like these can visually overwhelm your frame, so either ditch the large poncho and opt for a smaller one or select boots that blend with your bottoms.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and felt inspired to recreate it on yourselves. Thanks so much for stopping by!
