Hey Guys!

I hope you're all having a great start to the week, remember, our perception of things have the power to effect how we actually experience the day. If you're not having a good start so far, try to pull out something that happened this morning that was positive, such as the fact that you even woke up!

If you remember in my video that went up two weeks ago on What the Color in Our Outfits Really Mean, I mentioned that pink is considered and viewed as a romantic color, while blue denotes honesty or trustworthiness. They both blend well together not only in color, but in meaning, right?! I think this look or color pairing would be suitable for quite a few occasions or scenarios, such as a date, brunch, bridal shower, wedding (if the bridesmaid dresses aren't pink), baby shower, or birthday party.

When it comes to selecting the best shades of these colors, you want to of course choose shades that are the most flattering for your skin-tone. It's extremely important that we are aware of which skin-tone category we're in, either cool, warm, or neutral (a combination of both). The reason is because certain shades can make us appear more lively and provide our skin with a nice enhanced glow, while others can draw out darker hues in our face, enhancing shadows, causing us to appear sickly. I also have a video that addresses those issues, as well as how to determine which tone you are in my video The Best Colors for Your Skin and Hair Tone.

So what do YOU think of this color pairing? Is it one that you'd reattempt on yourselves? Let me know in the comments section what you're favorite color pairings are!
