Hello Ladies!

So we're at the end of the weekend, huh...well, let's take the time and make it our business to think our way ahead by having a positive perspective about this upcoming week, shall we?!

I feel like I haven't been doing a lot of date night posts, perhaps it's because I actually haven't, lol. We've been having somewhat of a busy summer and that busyness includes spending time with the family, so sometimes we either skip date night or have a family night instead. But, needless to say, I'm back with a post.

Eddie and I have been craving Mexican food for a few days. I actually began craving it after speaking with my mom on the phone while she was enjoying some guacamole and chips a few days ago. Don't you hate that?! When you're on the phone with someone who's eating something that you can't have at that exact moment? That's when the cravings usually begin. To settle those cravings once and for all, we went to a Mexican restaurant that was family style, which I like because, I feel that in places like this, the food tends to be a lot better (more authentic), almost as if you can taste the emotion that went into making it, the heart and soul of the chef, which makes it taste extra delish. Yes, I put that much thought into what I eat, lol!

APPETIZER: Chorizo in a chipotle sauce

APPETIZER: Guacamole and chips

ENTRÉE: Eddie and I had the same thing, skirt steak, an enchilada, rice, and beans

DESSERT: For dessert, we went to a zeppole dessert shoppe

WHAT I WORE:

Since we were having Mexican, I wanted to wear something fun and colorful, so I wore this sequins skirt. To balance out the eye, I wore a statement necklace that had the same colors within the skirt, which was important since the top was a solid black. Speaking of the top, I absolutely love Cynthia Rowley's basic tee's, they're extremely comfortable and are of great quality. Marshall's and TjMAXX tends to sell them a lot, so I suggest that you look for them the next time you're in one of those stores.
