Hello beautiful ladies!

Now that we are in September, that means we are quickly approaching fall, which I'm pretty excited about. Fall fashion has go to be my most favorite part of the season, aside from the perfect weather and breathe taking scenery. I will continue to create posts and videos as we approach the mark of the season to have you feeling and looking fabulous this season, of course addressing tips for your body shape along the way ;)

Today's post is on the fall 2014 fashion trends incorporated into dresses. Since fall is a transitional season, the weather can often be fickle, cooling down and warming up throughout the day. One of the safest pieces to wear in this case would be a dress. The reason is because not only are they simple enough to just through on and instantly create an entire ensemble, you're able to layer easily and take off what's no longer needed throughout the day without taking away from your look or outfit. I created a look-book featuring dresses that feature some of the hottest trends this season.

LEOPARD PRINT

Although leopard print is a classic, it has been spotted all throughout the runways for the fall season collections. Since it's a classic print, don't be scared to experiment with a full printed dress, as long as the colors and tones are soft, it won't look overdone or gaudy. It's a print that can be worn to various locations and setting, permitting for frequent use, as well as practicality.

ORANGE

I previously wrote a blog post explaining how orange really is now the new black and it seems to be the case for much of the fall and winter season. I       think it makes sense, not only because it's a color that flatters every skin and hair tone, but fall is the season that Thanksgiving takes place and that is a holiday that we do think of the color orange, right?! Mainly because of the harvest season and the spur of pumpkins. That being said, you're sure to wear your Little Orange Dress (LOD) for years to come, especially during the fall season!

BLUE

This color was huge last season, specifically cobalt blue, and the shades have only expanded this season. Be sure to select shades of blue that are most flattering for your skin and hair tones, keep in mind that those of you with cooler tones look great in any shade of blue, since it blends well with your skin's nature hue. I selected blues that have more of a cobalt tone than others, since I believe it's the most universally flattering shade.

PLAID

We saw the grunge trend take off last season, which featured the plaid print, this season we're seeing it in full on pieces, such as in dresses and skirts, aside from the familiar plaid shirt. It's an edgier and riskier piece when it's in a dress form, but I know YOU can pull it off!

So I hope this post gave you some insight as to what's "in" this fall season and how you can incorporate those trends, most of which are timeless classics, into dresses that are ideal for YOUR SHAPE!
