Hey guys!

In the beginning of the year, I announced on my blog that orchid was the color of the year. It's a gorgeous hue of purple and I feel it's perfect for fall. I've also mentioned how orange is the new black this upcoming fall; it's a bold color that makes a bold statement and can take any plain look up a notch in an instant. When creating a look for today's post, I wanted to combine both the color of the year and the color of the season into one outfit. I wasn't sure how they'd blend, but I actually love the end result. I think the two colors compliment each other rather nicely and would make for a fantastic pairing this fall, would you agree? So take your work look up a notch by blending these two beautiful and bold colors and be anything but ordinary, simply because YOU are!

Hey Girlies!

We're getting closer and closer to the official end of summer, which is always bitter sweet for me because as much as I love summer, I also loooove fall and fall fashion! I think what I love most is the layering and the various textures that can be mixed and matched to create an awesome and unique look. It also enables us to carry over many of our favorite summer pieces and get more use out of those items. I wanted to create some looks featuring some summer pieces that you most likely have, which can be easily carried over and worn during fall.

Who doesn't love a romper?! They're super feminine and easy to wear and style, what a great combination! Good news, you don't have to fret and say good-bye to your romp just yet! Pair it with a leather jacket and knee high boots for a more fall appropriate look. Now you have a valid excuse to just continue wearing that piece you love so much!

Who wears short shorts?! Me...and I'm sure you do, too! Now you can wear them all season long this fall, just pair them with opaque tights and your favorite button down shirt or blouse. Then finish the look with an awesome pair of booties, so hot!

Although many of us do wear sleeveless dresses all year long and just add a cardigan or blazer, another great option is to wear a button down shirt underneath. It gives a very clean feel to the look and exudes a nice preppy vibe, which is great for the office or a weekend event!

I hope this gave you all some ideas of how you can style some of your favorite summer pieces in a more creative and stylish way this upcoming fall season!

Happy Monday, loves!

This weekend was super fun, since I was celebrating my boo's birthday, which I thank you, once again, for your extended birthday wishes and love! Yesterday I shared my look for what I wore to his birthday brunch and today I'm sharing what I wore for his dinner celebration on Saturday night. I of course wanted to wear something that exuded fun and excitement and I feel anything sparkly does that, so I wore these sheen textured shorts and silk blouse. It was a pretty fancy restaurant, so to prevent the look from being just too much, I toned it down with this luxuriously silky and feminine blouse. I love this blouse because well, it's silk and who doesn't feel so fancy schmancy in anything silky?! Plus, I feel it was a really good score from Victoria's Secret. They can have some really great pieces that last a long time, and if you can catch them on sale or clearance, like I did with this blouse, it's even betta!

So how's the start of your week going so far?

Hey loves!

I hope you're all having a fun weekend so far! As many of you know, it's Eddie's (my husband) birthday today! We thank all of you who've been sending him birthday wishes this entire weekend, you've helped make it extra special!

Last night we went to one of his favorite restaurants for our date night and today he wanted to go for brunch. I chose to wear this fun and playful outfit for such a fun and exciting day. I love cropped tops, but I personally don't like to show skin, so wearing them with high waisted bottoms gives me the ability to work with them and I hope it gives you an idea on how to wear them if you feel the same. What I also like is that they help to create some volume up top for those of us gals with smaller busts. The structured silhouette of the sweater is balanced out nicely with a feminine skater skirt. I suggest when wearing a structured piece, either top or bottom, select a more feminine one for the opposite piece, to balance things out and prevent from appearing too boxy or stuffy, especially if you're a rectangular shape. The silhouette will exaggerate your natural shape and make you appear extremely boxy, so balance it out with a more feminine silhouette to help soften things up ;)

I hope you all have an awesome rest of the weekend!

Hey Loves!

So I'm thinking about adding a segment on the blog, Friday Fab Finds Under 100. Each week, I'll post some pieces that are unique and that I personally love and feel you would also, all of which would be under $100! I think this is great because not only am I sharing what I'm finding and loving with all of you, but it's a great way for you guys who may not have Pinterest and are unable to follow me there. Plus, you'd be able to purchase any of the items featured in the post, again, all of which would be under $100!

I will try to find different and unique pieces to make the posts exciting and if you decide to purchase anything, it would definitely be special! I mean, what girl doesn't want to score a unique piece for her wardrobe for an affordable price, right?! Of course if you happen to love something and aren't sure if it's ideal for your body shape, you can leave a comment here and I'll let you know what I think. Another reason why I'm excited about this is because many of you have tried to purchase pieces on Keaton Row from the LookBooks I've created and live outside the U.S, where services aren't currently offered. Although it's not a personal approach, as it would be on Keaton Row, you can at least purchase the items I select myself, which you may love! Anyone else excited?!
