Hello all you hard working women out there!

In last weeks W3 post, I mentioned how having a cardigan and pencil skirt are essential for building your work wardrobe. I put this look together using both to show how well they can work together in one outfit. As you will notice, I didn't use a basic color pencil skirt, as I mentioned in the previous post because I wanted to give those who may already have the basics and want to step out into some bold colors some ideas as well.

This skirt proves that you can have a bold color and animal print in one piece and not appear overwhelming for work. The entire outfit is blue, but it's balanced out nicely with various shades of blue and hints of baige. You want to avoid doing a head-to-toe color scheme, without using other colors to brake it up because it will just looks like a large block of color. If you want to wear a red only outfit for example, you could implement some shades of light pink to balance it out, while maintaining the color scheme.

I'll see you once again in next weeks Wednesday's Working Women post!
