Happy Wednesday!

If there's one fabric that I love, that embraces my femininity, it would be lace. There's something so feminine about it. It also has a vintage feel, since lace was first created during the early 16th century and became an interest in the fashion world sometime in the early 18th century (wow)!

Now that we've had a brief history lesson (lol), let me explain why I love this laced top in particular.

You all know by now that I'm a huge proponent for all natural products, which includes clothing. This top, as well as all the pieces from the Les Lunes line, is created from bamboo (rayon from bamboo), a sustainable fabric, which has a very soft and luxurious texture, making it lightweight and conforming to the contours of our bodies. The fabric also provides UV protection and is anti-microbial and moisture wicking (absorbs sweat and moisture quickly). All of these properties are so valuable, especially during these warmer months, for the woman on the go, such as yourself.

I chose to pair the camisole with these beige colored trousers because it gives off a very light and airy feel, perfect for the warmer and transitional seasons. Plus, the colors worked rather nicely together, lavender and beige, and to elongate my legs, I paired the trousers with nude pumps.

What I love about this camisole, is that it can be worn in SO MANY different ways. Here, I styled it for the office, but it could certainly be paired with skirts, shorts, and jeans (which I intend on pairing here on the blog) to instantly dress up your look, effortlessly. As a working woman, it's essential to have multifunctional pieces to mix and match. It stretches your hard earned money and can provide some much needed space in your closet, since you could utilize that one piece in various ways. In addition and in this case, you'd be wearing an all natural piece, essential if you have sensitive skin, like myself. Here's a close up of the beautiful lace detail:

Disclaimer: This camisole was sent to me from Les Lunes, but I chose to wear and feature it on the blog because it's a brand that I genuinely like and believe in. I would never suggest anything, including brands, to you that I myself would not wear or support personally, because I consider myself loyal to all of you and strive to maintain a strong sense of integrity here on the blog and in all of my social media outlets.
