Hello gorgeous ladies!

Today has been a bit nippy here in New York and the sun hasn't really come out to say hello. However, it was a wonderful opportunity for me to break out this soft pink leather jacket that I bought forever ago and have hardly worn at all. That being said, this season, leather has been a very hot trend on and off the run-ways, which has been inspiring me to start wearing it! I chose to also wear a pastel purple top that I purchased from New York & Company last season with it, because I felt the colors meshed well together and I love the way the top balances out my body. As you all know, those who have been following me for some time now, I have a pear shaped figure, so I try to add some volume to my upper body whenever I can, to balance things out. What I love about this top and those that have a draw string in the center, or a cinched in waist, like a baby-doll style top, is that it causes the top portion of the blouse to fold, creating some volume! A top like this would work well not only on my fellow pear shaped women, but all the other body shapes as well. So this style top is a universally flattering fit because it creates focus to the waist and if you have no waist or a large waist, it'll make it appear smaller, since it'll flare out a bit on the bottom!
