Hello Divas!
Today's outfit was a little darker and a bit edgy, since it was a gloomy day out. I generally like to wear brighter pieces on days like today, but I opted for something else; a different look. Plus, I try to give myself any reason to wear this lipstick by Milani, which I'm a bit obsessed with. It's their Black Cherry #24. I've been having so much fun experimenting with darker and bolder lips this past fall and current winter season, which I didn't do much of last year. I guess it's because of the color choices I've been seeing in the stores lately that have been much more captivating and alluring. Most of the colors I've been wearing are in fact from Milani and I think it has to do in part of the sales that have been going on at CVS during the holiday seasons, which I mentioned in my Sweater Weather TAG video.
As for the complete look, I loved the mixture of olive green and black leather. I think it gives a bit of a militant look, which I've also been experimenting with throughout the season. As a side note, I wouldn't suggest wearing olive colors if you are fair skinned with dirty blonde hair or have died your hair a dirty blonde shade. The reason is that it can look a bit harsh and cause your hair to have a greenish looking tint to it, which of course you don't want! As for you natural olive toned gals, they look great on you and bring out those golden undertones of yours.
