Hello ladies!

For our weekly date night Eddie and I went to a Moroccan restaurant. We had such a WONDERFUL time. To be quite honest with you, I'm more inclined to want to experiment with different cultural foods than my husband, and he was a bit skeptical of trying out this restaurant, but from the very start, he absolutely loved it. Soon as you enter, you feel as though you stepped into a local restaurant in Morocco; it's just that traditional. They have a seating area with tables and chairs close to the floor and one area where you sit on the floor underneath what looked like a canopy, which we will be requesting the next time we go back. Now, on to the food.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the mussels and the fried goat cheese for appetizers and I had the Tangia Marrakchia for the main entree and Eddie had the Lamb Shank, both were absolutely delicious and full of authentic spices. For dessert, I had the crepe with berries, which was so yummy and Eddie had the filo stuffed with almonds and honey, which we weren't all that crazy about. For the coffee, we had the Moroccan coffee, which was completely different than our typical Starbucks coffee. It had a very strong herbal taste, so if you're not into herbal teas, which is what it tasted like, then I wouldn't suggest it. I thought it was pretty good, but I wouldn't be able to have an entire cup because the spices are so strong, which can be a bit overwhelming.

Below are some pictures of the outfit that I wore. It's not a fancy restaurant, so if you're ever around the area and are considering to dine here, keep in mind that it's a  casual setting and in some areas, you can take your shoes off!

Until next time...stay beautiful!
