Hello gorgeous ladies!

Last night, Eddie and I had the honor of accompanying a friend of his, who he has known for many years, in celebrating his 25th anniversary with his beautiful wife! We had such a wonderful night at an Italian restaurant, Patricia's Pizza of Tremont, in the Bronx. This place has the most authentic Italian food that I've ever had. The way we ordered was "family style", which means that they keep bringing food until you tell them to stop! I've never eaten as much as I ate last night, so if you read my tweet that said I was so hungry, I literally ate my words! I can't even count the amount of different foods that we shared, since each time food was brought out, it was presented on one huge plate for the entire table to share. It was an experience I will NEVER forget, especially since I'm still full as I'm writing this post!

I wanted to wear something that was a bit dressy, since we were celebrating a special occasion, yet feel comfortable as I stuffed my face with food for the night! I opted for this extremely comfy Cynthia Rowley skater dress, which is very forgiving. I love the bright colors and digital inspired pattern. I think the combination of the two makes for a very fun and flirty look, which is what I was going for. I highly suggest skater dresses for EVERY body shape and size (tall or petite), since they are one of the most flattering dresses you could ever possibly own! They have a fit and flare style, which accentuates your waist area and visually creates hips, if you lack them, and enhances those of you who have them already, but in a way that doesn't exaggerate them, which would otherwise make them look too wide. As for the height, these dresses typically fall around the mid leg, which is not too short and definitely not too long, which is why any woman, regardless of her height, would be able to wear it.

I chose to pair the dress with these beautiful metallic purplish/pink Gucci shoes, which I scored on sale at DSW two years ago. I love the white statement heel, which permits for the metallic to truly pop, and adds some interest as I walk away or turn around. As for my hair, I only like to put it up when it's extremely hot, and we've been experiencing a heat wave for this entire week, so I didn't want to walk outside and look like I got electrocuted, so I just put it up in a simple donut bun :)

The reason I didn't take pictures of the food is because I didn't want to look like a weirdo taking out my camera in front of this older couple, who are not that tech savvy. It would have been awkward and we just wanted to enjoy the flow of our conversations ;)

I hope you all have a wonderful and fun weekend and don't forget to follow me on my other sources, since I'm always posting somewhere all the time!
