Hello beauties!
I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth Of July!
This week, Eddie and I went to a wonderful restaurant, right on the water. The view was spectacular! We had made reservations and arrived a few minutes late and asked to sit outside, which we were told would be a 15 minute wait. We agreed to wait and just embrace the beautiful surroundings in the meantime. Not even 5 minutes had gone by and we were told that our table was ready! As we sat down at the table that we were escorted to, a waitress told the hostess in front of us that a couple was waiting for the table that were seated at. When they were finished speaking, I asked the hostess if we would need to move and she said no. Then I saw the couple that the waitress was referring to look at us and the husband got up, I was thinking, "oh boy, what's going to happen now", one of those awkward moments! He walked behind me and said, "this is weird" and then his pregnant wife got up and walked behind me and said the same thing, both standing behind me waiting for the waitress. They began to speak to the waitress behind me and were seated at a larger table right behind us. After about 5 minutes of sitting there, the wife got upset and moved to the table in front of us. I felt so uncomfortable because I felt that there should have been better communication between the staff, after about 15 minutes of me feeling totally uncomfortable, I began to enjoy myself again and take in the scenery.
The food at the restaurant was great, but I honestly had better. I feel what truly made the place was the scenery. To me, the options were not that appealing to the sea food lover, although they did have quite a few selections. I don't know about you guys, but when I eat at a restaurant by or on the water, my expectations for their sea food selections are pretty high! I do want to mention how delicious my dessert was, though. I don't typically order gelato for dessert, but the way the waiter described it, totally enticed me. It was a sea salted caramel gelato, yummy!
As for my outfit, I've been wanting to wear these snake printed harem style pants ever since I first bought them and I felt that last night was the perfect time. I usually google our restaurants the night before to check out their photos for the interior and exterior surroundings, so I can have an idea of what would be appropriate for me to wear. I chose to pair the pants with a sold black cami and gold accented animal printed statement necklace and gold hoop earrings, to kind of balance the eye out a bit. I got some compliments on the look, so I felt it was a success, but most importantly I LOVED IT AND FELT GOOD IN IT and that's what matters most ;)
