Hello Gorgeous Ladies!

Guys, I first have to start off by sharing my absolute confusion regarding the weather we've been experiencing here in the Northeast. I know I mentioned it in my previous post, but yesterday was the first day of winter and it was in the 60's, which I believe the meteorologists stated was a record. Now I can't really say that I minded, but it is a bit weird to experience that sort of weather when just a few days ago we had a snow storm. Are these signs of global warming, as mentioned over and over throughout time? I believe so. I believe these are signs of some drastic changes in our environment that we are experiencing, along with the fast forward feeling time has seemed to have had.

But moving right along to the main focus of this post, which is our date night. Since it was a lot milder, I was so excited to have ditched the thick and bulky coat and tights and wear something more light weight, yet festive. Remember yesterday I posted on Facebook a suggestion on wearing winter whites to your Christmas and holiday party get togethers? A look similar to this would be great and, I feel, still exudes Christmas. It's also a look that would work for all of the body shapes, mainly because of how it's styled. Since the skirt is a tweed like fabric, which makes it a bit more stiff, also making it more likely to flare out at the hips, which would otherwise add more unnecessary width to both the pear and hourglass shapes, but since I paired it with a flowy top that also has some detailing, it balanced it out. This type of blouse will also conceal a larger midsection for all you apple shapes because it's not at all clingy. I chose to wear my nude pointed toe shoes to lengthen my legs and counter act any width that the skirt may have added to exaggerate my hip area.
